It is not sure yet if today is the last day of Ramadan, or tomorrow. But we are already working towards the celebration. For this year’s ‘Id I will bake this and that cake, inchaallah, and decorate them with some sweets.
And today we are cleaning the house and also preparing our Zakat ul ‘Id which is the obligatory donation which has to be given on behalf of every Muslim in the household, this is to purify the soul, to assure that everyone will be happy on ‘Id and to care for the poor (we will give wheat this year).
While doing all of this, I am also thinking about how to continue with some extra-acts of worship even after Ramadan, it would be so good to carry on some of the baraka of this blessed time, ya Rabb.
Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
