The last ten days of Ramadan are very special for Muslims. They are the most blessed days in the sacred month of Ramadan. Muslims follow their Prophet Muhammad (sas) who used to exert himself even more in worship during these last ten days, hoping to draw closer to Allah.
So I have to ask myself now: am I ready fo these last days and nights? did I prepare my dua’ list? am I ready to quit the worldly duties and take a vacation to travel more towards Allah, to concentrate on worship and on reading Qur’an?
A’ishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
When the last ten nights (of Ramadan) would begin, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
wishing you the most blessed days and nights, an increased Iman and that all your sins may be forgiven.
