Sîibâ and Asslim

The weekend and the last days were busy and just about celebrating, eating and being together with the whole family. We celebrated two occasions in one: the birth of Ayoub, the new born son of my brother in law and also the circumcision of our youngest son YA.
It was a big feast and a lot of food, a lot of “salaams”, tea drinking, chatting and also a bit of quranic recitation, of music and singing.
Alhamulillah, it was a nice party and even that it was very cold and lots of snow falling, we were cozy in our blankets and all together in the tiny little rooms of my father in laws house.
Now we are recovering, beginning to prepare next weeks big ‘Id (Muslim’s sacrificial offering celebration) and we are also caring for YA who still suffers from little pain…

  3. Assalamu alaykum sis, I haven’t posted in ages! Sorry.
your pics are so wonderful! The colours, falvours, tastes, the cold, the cozyness, the warm blankets…such a poetic picture!
Mash’Allah! Love the tangines. Do you use them all at once to cook for big family?
