Marrakech inspiration

Salam alaikoum friends,

We are back from a beautiful trip to Marrakech.
It was such a nice possibility to change the all-day-life, to get new inspiration, to do some shopping, to feel a bit of a warm summer-breeze in the red city, to eat ice-cream and do some sightseeing.
The kids loved to visit the playground and some toy-shops and I enjoyed drinking tea with girlfriends on the terraces of the famous Djemma-el-fna-square and to watch the people and life around….

I will post more pictures the upcoming days.

Now we are back home and winter is almost here. Snow is up on the mountains and I am looking forward to a busy week with my house full of visitors…

Nice to be back in the blogging- world!

  1. Assalamu alaikum,
love your blog, love your lifestyle and the surroundings you have been blessed to be in, and LOVE those slippers. I would buy the entire stand just to keep looking at the vibrant colours and to admire the hands that have made them…and maybe keep one pair for wearing 🙂
JazakiLlahu khairan for the inspiring ‘window’ you share with us.
    Wassalamu alaikum

  2. Just curious, why are Moroccans obsessed with hoods on their jilbabs? Do they ever wear the hood? I liked those house slippers, though…very comfy looking. Husband and I need to make a trip out there. That would be nice…MashAllah for all your photos.

  3. Assalaamu alaikum sister,

I love these few photographs you have posted and look forward to seeing more insha’Allah. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your break.

I have some Moroccan abayas and Moroccan leather slippers and LOVE them.
